About

Ernie Leyba is a photojournalist and commercial photographer based in Denver, Colorado. As a former Denver Post photographer, Leyba has experience in editorial photography as well as events, people, and corporate assignments. As an additional service, he also offers his clients audio slide shows as a tool to market their businesses and events or to recognize individuals.

Leyba believes that the digital age has made it easier to meet client needs and deadlines while maintaining quality and creativity. His goal is to give each client the best job possible and to deliver the final product in a timely manner.

The photo galleries represent the kinds of assignments Leyba has accomplished over the years showing different examples from corporate to general photography, and events. His approach to each job is to look for different perspectives with an artistic flair and to make even a mundane subject more appealing. Leyba always respects his client’s wishes and works hard to make sure that his clients are involved with the project whenever possible and that his clients receive a well done professional product in the end.

While mainstream photography is Leyba’s passion, he also is a fine art photographer working with 35mm and 4×5 black and white film as an art form as well as Bichromate printing which is an alternative photographic process, using pinhole and Holga cameras. Leyba has exhibited his work in local galleries and plans future exhibits.
